Taylor Swift engagement to Travis Kelce: When will NFL star propose?

A new album, a Super Bowl and another two Grammys for the singer – the only thing missing from a perfect 2024 for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is a celebration to mark their romance.

Speculation was rife that Kelce was planning to propose on the 34-year-old’s birthday in December, just three months after they became an official couple. But that turned out to be premature, with the pair insisting they did not want to rush into getting married.

Still, given they are both at the same age and want to start a family, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Kelce put a ring on Swift‘s finger before the end of 2024 – and betting companies are confident it will happen in the near future.

Bettors can lay their predictions on when the power couple will announce they are tying the knot, with a reported 75 per cent chance that Kelce will pop the question before the start of the new NFL season on September 5, according to OLBG.

“People will bet on them, especially with the rise of Swift being on television a lot with the NFL,” OBLG’s Jake Ashton told the New York Post.

“The markets now for each of Kelce’s games, they all have Taylor Swift specials in there because there has been an increase in men watching it with their partners who have shown interest in Swift. They’re at a fairly early stage, so it will be in the tens of thousands that will have bet on them so far.”

Bettors can also gamble on the cost of Swift’s engagement ring – over or under $250,000 – and even the number of stones in the diamond ring.

But that’s not all. People can even bet on what their first child’s name will be, with choices ranging from Edward and Scott for a boy to Taylor or Andrea for a girl, with a nod to their parents.

Either way, they’re wagering on a swift engagement – and after Swift’s joy with releasing ‘The Tortured Poets’ Department’, it might not be too long before her lovelife drama reaches a positive conclusion.
