Carol Kirkwood has updated fans on a career move away from BBC Breakfast as she takes a break from the show.
BBC Breakfast’s Carol Kirkwood has shared a huge career announcement away from the morning show. The regular weather presenter has shared that she has taken on a new venture, away from TV completely, as she announced the launch of her new book.
Fans rushed to support the 62-year-old presenter as she updated them on social media. Posting to X (formerly Twitter) Carol shared a sneak peak of the front cover of her book, Once Upon a Time in Venice.
She captioned the post, as she shared her excitement, saying: “So thrilled that my fourth book ‘Once Upon a Time in Venice’ is out TODAY!!! This would not be happening without all your support. THANK YOU @HarperFiction @katebradleySW6 xxx.”
Carol’s fans were delighted with the news and commented with messages of support. One wrote: “Congratulations Carol. Wishing you great success.”
A second person added: “Oooh yaaay can not wait to get it. Super excited about this one, which I am sure will be as good if not better than the others ahhhhhhhhhhh.” And a third simply wrote: “Congratulations!”
Previously announcing the news of her book, prior to it’s release, Carol said: “I’m delighted to announce that I have a new novel coming in July called #OnceUponATimeInVenice.
“This time I’m whisking you away to Italy where masquerade balls, opera stars and Hollywood all collide in a sizzling romance.”
The book’s description says that three characters’ fates collide in the most beautiful city on earth, but will dangerous secrets destroy their dreams?
