Patrick Mahomes picks sides on the J Cole vs Kendrick Lamar rap beef as fans react

Nearing the end of the week, rapper J Cole responded to a diss from Kendrick Lamar with his surprise album called ‘Might Delete Later’. The reactions to this have been overwhelming with many taking Cole’s side, this includes none other than Kansas City Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes. He didn’t need much to let his preference be known, all he did was post a tweet with a few emojis in it and that’s all. People who follow the quarterback were divided over Mahomes’ pick from this battle. While many agree with what he said, there are those who are completely against the decision and let Mahomes know through the comments of his post.

In many ways, the current verse battle between two of the greatest lyricists in rap can be considered a battle that is defining the genre. J Cole started all of this with a call for unity but Kendrick Lamar never intended to have anybody sit at the high table beside him. We can 100% expect Lamar to respond to the latest dis from J Cole. But while we wait, Patrick Mahoems picked his horse in this race and effectively got the entire Kendrick Lamar fan base against him.
