Patrick Mahomes’ mom, Randi, had quite the response to her daughter-in-law Brittany’s sports Illustrated Swimsuit photo shoot saying she was shocked and speechless
Patrick Mahomes’ mom, Randi, had quite the response to her daughter-in-law Brittany’s first-ever Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photo shoot.
Shortly after SI Swim debuted Brittany as one of its 2024 Rookies with a compilation video of swimsuit footage from the idyllic set in San Pedro Ambergris Caye, Belize, Randi took to the comments with six simple words.
“Holy moly that rocks!!!” she exclaimed. “Go girl.”
As for Brittany, well, she had her own reaction to the newfound honors.

“I’m truly just so humbled and still in disbelief,” she said of the spread. “As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in [the SI Swimsuit Issue]. I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”
“I think of all the incredible athletes I’ve grown up watching over the years,” she added, referencing athletes like Alex Morgan, Sue Bird and Ronda Rousey who have all graced the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “Just seeing elite athletes go out of their comfort zone [and pose for the magazine] is so inspiring!”
The 28-year-old is an athlete in her own right, taking her college soccer career pro when she played at UMF Afturelding in Iceland. She used her passion for fitness as inspiration for her studies, earning a Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and later becoming a certified personal trainer who now runs an at-home workout program called Brittany Lynne Fitness. She is also a minority owner on the Kansas City Current, a professional women’s soccer team. She and her Chiefs quarterback husband even helped fund the Current’s new stadium—the first built specifically for a women’s team.
The official KC Current social media team was also found in the comments, cheering her on by calling her a “QUEEN. .”
