Hugh Jackman and Gigi Hadid dating rumours swirl after red carpet appearance
Jackman and Reynolds, who are longtime friends, both star as their usual Marvel superhero characters in the action blockbuster.
Lively and Hadid, who are also known to be close friends, wore red and yellow — reflecting the two characters.
It Ends With Us star Lively wore a red body suit to resemble her husband Reynold’s character Deadpool, while Hadid was dressed in yellow to match Jackman’s Wolverine.
Lively and Reynolds, who married in 2012, smiled and held hands on the carpet as Hadid and Jackman smiled alongside them.
The red carpet display led many fans to wonder whether Aussie actor Jackman and US model Hadid are dating.
“Hugh Jackman took Gigi Hadid?” one person asked on X, formerly Twitter.
“Is Gigi dating Hugh?” another person questioned.
“For a second I was like, ‘Wait … is Gigi dating Hugh?’ but then I remembered,” another person wrote, referencing Hadid’s relationship with actor Bradley Cooper.
Hadid and Cooper have been dating for the past year, making various public appearances together, but have never spoken on the record about their relationship — but which has been confirmed by people close to the couple.
“Considering how busy they both are with work and family, they have managed to keep this alive and are going strong,” a source told People.
“They had a solid start and it has built from there. Each admires the success of the other, and they have kids in common.”
Both Cooper and Hadid have children from previous relationships.
Cooper and his ex, model Irina Shayk, have a seven-year-old daughter named Lea.
Hadid has a three-year-old daughter, Khai, with singer Zayn Malik.
As for Jackman, he is currently believed to be still single following his split from his wife of 27 years, Australian actress Deborra-Lee Furness.
They announced their split in September 2023, writing in a joint statement they were separating “to pursue our individual growth”.
“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” they said.
“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
Following the news, they both unfollowed each other on social media.
The pair first met on the set of Australian TV drama Corelli in 1995 — when Furness was much better known as an actor than Jackman — and the chemistry was said to be instant.
The couple married in April 1996 and had been red carpet mainstays for years.
