Travis Kelce’s offseason of awesome continues as he wins the home run derby at the David Njoku Celebrity Softball game in Cleveland.
The Chiefs tight end, Cleveland Heights native and three-time Super Bowl champion won the event’s home run derby at Classic Park.
Kelce hit 11 homers in the final round to best former Browns running back Kareem Hunt, who hit 10. Kelce hit all of his towards left and center field, batting right-handed.
After hitting the final dinger as time expired in the minute-long round (with one timeout after 30 seconds), Kelce flipped his bat and took a triumphant jog around the bases, donning his event jersey and a pair of Cleveland Heights black basketball shorts, before claiming his trophy.
Kelce got maybe the loudest ovation of the afternoon when he arrived fashionably late moments before his turn in the derby began.
Kelce’s squad went on to be victorious in the game too. Team Myles Garrett got an early 8-0 lead over team David Njoku and never looked back, winning 20-5.
