Just more events for Travis Kelce but no Taylor Swift again. INSIGHT on what’s really happening and why.

On Saturday, Travis Kelce put in an official appearance at the Kentucky Derby wearing a full white suit and black fedora on theme with the fashion and racing event.

He was not accompanied by Taylor Swift, despite rumors she would be his date for the evening at the racetrack. He was seen in photos taken by TMZ with the fellas from the Chainsmokers and in a photo with the Houston Rockets’ player Chandler Parsons. Late night host Jimmy Fallon shared a clip of them chatting on Instagram as well

He was later seen in more casual wear at the Sports Illustrated Revel at the Races party at Ice House.

It’s not too surprising that Swift wasn’t at the Derby. The couple also turned down an invite for the Met Gala on Monday, because Swift’s Eras Tour resumes in Paris on May 9 and she was planning to travel. She is most likely already on her way to Europe in preparation for her first concert or getting ready at home.

The official Kentucky Derby Instagram account shared a clip showing Kelce celebrating after winning a bet on a race, which they captioned, “When you show up to the Kentucky Derby and your first bet hits.”

When asked if he’d be attending any European tour dates, Kelce told Entertainment Tonight, “You know I gotta go support.”
He went on, “We’re both very career driven, we both love what we do, and so any chance that I can show my support to her and knowing that she’s shown me all the support in the world throughout the season, it’s just been an amazing experience getting to know Tay…She’s so amazing at what she does, and to find that creativity, to see where she likes to pull things from and really just how she listens to music, is really very eye opening for me.”
